Carey Moore is a professional flutist with fourteen years experience providing music as a soloist and collaborative musician.
She has a love for theater music and has been able to perform in the pit orchestra for numerous theater shows including Camelot, The King and I, Pippin, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Once on this Island, Sister Act and The Wiz.
Carey's passion as a soloist is creating educational recitals which feature works for unaccompanied flute by both historical and living composers. These recitals are perfect for any location as minimal setup is required and they can be custom designed for any specific length of time. These recitals have been performed for civic groups as well as in other non-traditional venues.
She also has experience providing background music for weddings and events. She has a large selection of repertoire which can be custom designed for each client's specific occasion.
Carey also performs frequently as a collaborative musician. She has performed for a variety of churches and also has experience as both a chamber and ensemble musician.
